PC guide
Join a Minecraft serveron Windows PC
On PC there are two Minecrafts: Bedrock Edition ("Minecraft for Windows") and Java Edition. PaffMC accepts both, on the same servers. Here is how to connect with each one.
Which edition do you have?
- In the Minecraft Launcher, Bedrock Edition is called Minecraft for Windows; Java Edition is called Minecraft: Java Edition.
- If you bought the game after 2022 you own both ("Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC").
- Bedrock is the edition found on phones and consoles. Java is the original PC edition.
With Minecraft for Windows (Bedrock)
- Update the game from the launcher or the Microsoft Store (version 1.26.50).
- Play, Servers tab, Add Server at the bottom of the list.
- Name PaffMC, address play.paffmc.net, port 19132, then Save.
- Click PaffMC in the list to join.
With Minecraft Java Edition
- Start Minecraft Java 1.21.11 or newer.
- Multiplayer, Add Server, address play.paffmc.net (no port needed).
- Accept the server resource pack: it contains the interface and the 3D models.
In game your name starts with J_ so everyone knows you play on Java. More details: Java and Bedrock on the same server.

Problems
PC: frequently asked questions
The server does not respond
Check the port: 19132 on Bedrock, nothing (default port) on Java. Also try the IP address 45.158.77.103.
"Outdated client" on Bedrock
The server accepts Bedrock 1.26.50. Update the game and start it again.
"Incompatible client" on Java
You need Minecraft Java 1.21.11 or newer. Pick the latest release in the launcher.
3D models do not show on Java
The resource pack was declined. Edit the server in the list, set Server Resource Packs to Enabled and reconnect.
Is the server in English?
PaffMC is a French server, but the game text switches to English automatically when your Minecraft is not set to French. You can also type /lang en in game.
